Hi, welcome to my Blog, I’m Linda and I love designing and creating unique pieces of beaded, wired and polymer clay jewellery and accessories.  I also have another blog; The Crafty Network (TCN) and a Facebook group page called The Crafty Network VIP’s, where I encourage people to network, promote and seek advice and support for their Handmade Crafts.  I do this all voluntarily as   “I love all things crafty!”

I am married and I am currently a full-time housewife and mum to 2 almost grown up boys.

Picture of me for the blogI have loved art since being a child, if my parents had allowed me I would have pursued it as a career, but instead they persuaded me to go to Secretarial College!  This and Project Management has been my career for many years, until I decided to take a career break.  That was 5 years ago!  Since then I have re-discovered my love of art and a whole world of crafts.  I have become passionate about making jewellery and I love helping others to promote their crafts and talents too.

“There are so many talented people that the world has yet to discover!”

I love learning new skills in jewellery making, art and design, in business, marketing and IT.  I have even completed a BTEC course in 3D Design and Mixed Media which I am pleased to say I passed with Distinction.

With regards my own work, I take my inspiration from the vibrant colours of nature, flowers especially, you will see a lot of flowers feature in my work, especially daisies!  I love bright colours too, so I’m usually most creative during Spring and Summer.  Every item I make is unique, I make my own polymer clay beads with one design in mind and I like being free to create something different every time.

“Keeping my designs unique and fresh”

I also like sharing things that I have learned or picked up and helping others in their jewellery making endeavours, that’s why I sometimes post links to tutorials I have found or I do my own simple tutorials and put together ideas for displaying jewellery.  I never know when an idea will be ignited and I can go weeks without being inspired, but when I am you can be sure I will be posting about it.

Thank you so much for visiting and showing interest in my blog,  if you like what you see, I would be very honoured if you choose to follow me, that way you can keep up to date with any new posts I do.  I also have a Facebook page, where I tend to spend most of my time, although I am not someone who posts comments just for the sake of it, but if you are interested in seeing more regular pictures of my work then here is the link Georgia P Designs.

Linda x
